Note: If you want to also have your trip listed under Chapter Trips you should enter it twice. Once under Major Excursions and again under Chapter Trips.

When you click on Add new Major Excursion(s), you will see that the next listing page has the *Committee field filled in with Major Excursion, not the committee that you are assigned to. Subsequently the trip will be reviewed (and approved at the same time) by the Major Excursion Committee at Joy St., not by your committee sub-chair, and not by the Narragansett Approver. This means that as a contributor (or as a reviewer) when you add an "Interchapter Excursion", all approval formalities within your activity group should be completed.

Under the Major Excursion(s) option, list the trip for "Magazine & Web" so it will be listed under the Major Excursions trips section in the Outdoors magazine.

After the trip is submitted, enter the trip again as a Chapter Trip(s) for "Web Only". That will put it on Outdoors.org under chapter trips, but not in the Outdoors magazine under Narragansett Chapter events. It will also appear in our "Narragansett Activities" web page. Since the newsletter editor downloads only the listings for chapter trips into the Gazette, the trip will be automatically included with the rest of the trips.
