Who are our Trip Leaders and Committee Members?

Some members know the trip leaders from trips they have been on, but others do not know who our leaders and committee members are, much less recognize them in a crowd. All our leaders and committee members are volunteers who enjoy giving their time and expertise to the benefit of the Club, and it would be proper to give credit where credit is due.

The Narragansett Chapter has designed a trip leader and committee member profile page and we hope that all those volunteers will submit a photo and a little information about themselves. See our
Profile page for submitted profiles.

If you are a trip leader, a committee member, serve in some other capacity for the club, or served as an active past leader, read on and see what we would like in your profile. Submitting information for the profile page is strictly voluntary, but in the spirit of the Club, I hope most of you will contribute.

Your photo ideally should be such that members can recognize your face, and maybe with a typical outdoors background. The photo should be at least snapshot size and send only one. All the better if you are in costume for the activity you lead. If it is a nice overall photo, it will be posted as a clickable alternate photo. Email me the photo and the answers to some of the following questions. As soon as I receive your profile, I will update the profiles page on the Chapter web site.

Four items that we would like to include for each person. Only your name and chapter position are required, but we would really like the others.

  • Name:
  • Chapter Position:
  • Residence: (only need the city)
  • Occupation: (or former occupation)

Then answer 3 to 6 of the following questions. Just don't get carried away. These are definitely not chipped in stone, and members submitting their profile can replace any of the listed questions with a creative one of their own. Once your profile is up, your profile and photo can be updated or changed if you contact the webmaster.
